Review
Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf:
This year's Caravan Salon 2019 in Düsseldorf has
again been able to significantly increase its visitor
numbers, to 268 thousand in the total 10 days. This
means that the Caravan Salon is now regarded as the
strongest trade fair in Europe for caravanning and
mobile travel. A total of 645 exhibitors from 31
countries were present. Around 2,100 leisure vehicles,
tents, accessories, technical equipment and much more
are on display in 13 halls on 214,000 square metres.
Here it was demonstrated more clearly than ever that
caravanning is and remains a trend, with a large number
of newcomers and above all a younger audience.
The main focus here is on many self-development
projects, i.e. individual motorhomes, panel vans or, of
course, buses of all kinds. The trend in the aftermarket
is therefore increasingly towards connective products
and uncomplicated installations.
Here, our flexible solar systems Fly Weight and Fold Up
were again able to stand out, but also our frame modules
Sun Peak and Sun Pearl were again in focus, as these
stand out from mass production and generate more yield
per day.
Our new mobile refrigerated trailer with our freezer kit
Phaesun Cool Self Chill, in which we cooled drinks, also
aroused a lot of interest. We are already looking
forward to the next Caravan Salon from 28.08.-
06.09.2020 and hope again for such a numerous visit.

Delegation
from Myanmar:
At
the beginning of september we had a delegation
from Myanmar as guests. The visit was organized by
bfz (berufliche Fortbildungszentren der
bayerischen Wirtschaft) on the topic: "Renewable
energies and energy efficiency". Thank you very
much for your visit!

Review Adventure Northside:
From 20.-22.09.2019
the 5th edition of the Offroad fair Adventure
Northside took place at the Gut Basthorst in
Lauenburg. Approximately 10,000 visitors found
their way to the Gut again to see what 140
exhibitors have to offer for expedition
vehicles, off-road vans and trucks, roof tents
and outdoor equipment. Phaesun was also there
for the fourth time and was even able to
operate the stand in the tent independently in
early autumn weather with sunshine from
morning to evening.
Our Fly Weights with the now standard PWM
controller with LCD display were again sold by
our local dealers. Also our cheap, flexible
Mare Flex modules to stick on with 100 Wp were
the eye-catcher. All in all the fair Northside
Adventure was again a great experience on site
with a lot of activities, music, great
exhibitors and a great organisation team. We
are already looking forward to next year.
Unfortunately the date is not fixed yet, but
we will inform you in time.

Visit of the summerschool of the SRH Uni Berlin:
The international
Solar Employee/Entrepreneur in-house training
as part of the 4th SRH Solar Summer Team-up
took place on Monday the 23.09.2019 at
Phaesun.
We would like to thank PV-Projects and Phocos
- Global for their passion to provide further
know-how to Off-Grid Experts.

Solar
Technologies & Hybrid Mini Grids:
From 01 - 03
April 2020 the third international conference on
solar technologies & hybrid mini networks to
improve energy access will take place. The
conference is an excellent platform for companies
to present their products and services to
participants around the world. Further information

mill project:
Phaesun supplied two
solar powered grain mills to Somaliland, and
were successfully installed by our local partner
Horn Renewable Energy Company – Kaafi Solar. The
PV system is composed of a 2,4kWp PV panels,
100Ah/48V battery bank and 1,2kW
inverter/Charger. The beneficiaries
are producing 40 – 50kg of quality flour
per hour, and giving service to the farmers in
the village.

Solar-powered cooling
units:
Phaesun, in collaboration
with the University of Hohenheim, has developed a
solar cooling assembly kit that enables the local
production of cooling systems. The Phaesun
Assembly Kit SelfChill® can be connected directly
to photovoltaic panels (for battery free systems)
or to the charge controller.
Advantages:
Create solar-powered cooling units yourself
Unbeatable transport costs due to compact shipping
size
Different sizes of refrigerators + boxes can be
realized
The same model is applied for many different
applications such as Refrigerator with 120L
volume, ice maker for 15 kg / day ice, cooling of
80L milk to 4°C in water bath or small cold rooms
of 6 m³.
The systems can be scaled up with additional kits.
Use of natural climate-friendly refrigerant R600a
(already filled and ready to use)
The Phaesun SelfChill® Assembly Kit includes
following components:
- A variable speed compressor (Secop BD35K)
- A condenser with fan
- Evaporator with a flat surface.
- Adaptive control unit programmable for different
systems with SD card and Bluetooth connection for
remote monitoring and PAYG.
- Three temperature sensors. T1 for the
refrigerator itself, T2 for the measurement of the
ambient temperature and T3 for the surface of the
evaporator plate.
