the
current uncertainty is causing us at Phaesun to do
everything we can to slow down the spread of the
corona virus. Your health, that of your family and
that of the entire Phaesun team and their
relatives is our top priority at Phaesun.
Business operations at Phaesun have so far only
been minimally restricted and we continue to
deliver all the components offered on time, as you
are used to from us. We have decided to minimise
our business trips to the absolute minimum and to
cancel our participation in upcoming exhibitions
and conferences.
However, we are still available to you as usual by
telephone and online. The whole Phaesun team
wishes you and your family all the best in these
difficult times.
Please also take prudent precautions to get
through this unusually unpleasant new situation

Important
information:
Due to the current corona wave there are always
delays in delivery traffic. Please let us know
immediately if the goods cannot be delivered to you or
your customer as usual. This will not only help us,
but also our carriers, who are struggling a lot
during this time.
Many thanks for your assistance.
Furthermore, we would like to inform you that the
forwarding agents and parcel service providers of our
manufacturers are already no longer supplying various
postcode areas. This may lead to delivery bottlenecks
in the future. However, we will always inform you
about this in a timely manner. Currently we are still
able to deliver almost the entire product range.

Changes
in shipping costs:
Everybody knows the problems in the fleet, whether
it's the shipping companies or the parcel services.
There are fewer and fewer drivers, as the older
generation is disappearing more and more and there are
hardly any new drivers.
The forwarding agencies and parcel services are forced
to continuously adjust their costs to the current
market situation. For all parcel deliveries that
deviate from a standard dimension and / or do not fit
through the automatic sorting, the parcel prices
increase.
So we are unfortunately also forced to raise the
package price within Germany to 1 € (6.10 € to 25 kg,
8.00 € to 30 kg). Europe-wide deliveries have a
surcharge of 11.80 € net for parcels with a size of
120 cm or more.

Review: Fair Travel + Camping Essen
This year's fair was overshadowed by the early
beginnings of the corona virus in NRW. As a result,
only 60,000 visitors came to the exhibition centre,
compared to 95,000 in 2019. 1,000 exhibitors from 20
countries did their best despite all this and the
visitors on site were more focused on the fair.
This year we were represented with two stands for the
first time. At our dealers Pieper GmbH and with a
small stand of our own together with the company Peggy
Peg Innovative Systeme both in hall 6. This gave us
the opportunity to serve the end customers even more
intensively, because the leisure industry is still
booming and has achieved a turnover of over 11 billion
in 2019.
The main focus of the visitors at our stands was on
complete solutions (Caravan Kits) for motor homes and
caravans. But of course also with our popular solar
bags Fly Weight, which is more and more used as an
additional supplement for existing systems, for
example, to meet the constantly increasing power
requirements of the vehicles to cover.
As before, a great deal of advice is still required
here, because every customer has different electricity
needs and specific requirements.
The next Reisen + Camping trade fair is expected to
take place from 24.02. - 28.02.2021. We hope that this
can then take place under better conditions.

Review: Austrian Boat Show Fair Tulln
Following the fair in
Essen, the largest boat show took place in
Tulln. Of course the uncertainty was also
noticeable here. On the four days of the fair,
instead of the normal 50,000 visitors, only
33,000 came into the halls and informed
themselves with 380 exhibitors from 19
nations. Above all, the usual visitors from
the Eastern European countries apparently
preferred to stay at home this time. So it was
much emptier than usual in the nine halls on
30,000m². The Messe Tulln distinguishes itself
by its uncomplicated and courteous exhibition
team. The visitors on site were very
professional. We still have a stand here
together with the shipyard Rammin from Barth.
The main interest was in the wind generators
from Silentwind, our semi-flexible modules
from Sunpower and the solar bags. There is
still a great need for explanation here, as
the number of electronic devices on board is
also increasing. At the end of the fair one
could say there were good conversations, a lot
of interest and also the boat sector in
Austria is picking up more and more speed. The
next Boat Show is planned for 04 - 07.03.2021.
We would be happy if this show takes place
again.

present the new charge controller for photovoltaic
applications WRM20 from Western Co. WRM20 is a
complete solution for off-grid PV systems, to
supply power to road signs systems, lighting
systems, small low voltage systems and for
recharge of batteries inside caravans or boats.
Several programs of load management, selectable by
the user, make WRM20 the complete solution in many
applications i.e. to supply power to CCTV cameras
that have to work only during the day, or for
blinking light systems/road signs that have to
work only during the night, or to supply power to
lighting systems that have to work only for a
certain number of hours during the night.

Drinking Water for the Maasai in the steppe of
Tanzania:
Together with nine other
European project partners, we developing
innovative desalination systems based on
electrodialysis technology as part of the EU
development and innovation project REvivED Water.
In February 2020, a pilot plant was installed at a
saline well in the Tanzanian Maasai village of
Ndedo and supplies the population with 2000 litres
of drinking water per day. The whole press release
