Delegation visits:
At
the beginning of July we had an African delegation
as guests. A group of African trainers from the
countries Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda and Zambia visited
us from the field of photovoltaics and renewable
energies. The visit was organized by bfz
(Berufliches Fortbildungszentrum der Bayerischen
Wirtschaft). Thank you very much for your visit!
Also in July we had two delegations, organized by
the German Society for International Cooperation
(GIZ). The delegations came from Uganda and
Ethiopia.

REvivED:
The fourth of the
planned eight REvivED pilot plants was put
into operation in Djibouti. It now supplies
the inhabitants of the village of Yabeh with
about 800 litres of treated drinking water per
day. Previously, the people were dependent on
the polluted and salinated groundwater, which
is now desalinated by electrodialysis using
the newly developed technology and treated to
drinking water by microfiltration, activated
carbon and chlorination.

Training in Ethiopia:
Phaesun
conducted a training for the Ethiopian MOWIE
(Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity) in
Addis Ababa on behalf of the GIZ. The participants
were trained in theory and practice for the use of
the PV Analyzer Z200 by Emazys. This modern device
makes it possible to detect and locate faults in
photovoltaic systems within a very short time. In
addition, the status of each individual module in
the system can be determined, so that time and money
can be saved by the targeted replacement of
individual modules.

Adventure
Southside 12. - 14. July 2019 With 170
exhibitors from 11 countries and an extensive
programme of lectures and workshops, the Adventure
Southside adventure fair attracted overlanders,
off-road fans, globetrotters and survival
enthusiasts to the Lake Constance triangle for the
fourth time. Many visitors were very interested in
the topic: "Power supply via solar energy". Among
them were also many self-builders, who want to
supply their not yet existing or still under
construction vehicle with photovoltaic plants. We
are already looking forward to next year!

Salon fair in Düsseldorf:
