Review Caravaning Hamburg:
The fair oohh - Die FreizeitWelten der Hamburg
Messe houses 6 fairs under one roof. One of them is of
course Caravaning Hamburg. The Caravaning occupied 4
halls and all the dealers in and around Hamburg were,
as always, on site and presented the 77,000 visitors
with the latest vehicles. Of course the accessories
are not neglected either. This was presented at the
newly founded technical forum. Here the visitors were
informed about the state of the latest accessories, we
provide information and advice. In times of more and
more electricity demand, our solar systems are getting
more and more meaning. We have taken over the local
consultation for our various dealers. The new
technical forum was very well received and we are
already looking forward to the next oohh from 03 .

Congratulations to Steca Elektronik!
The Global LEAP Awards, an initiative of the
Efficiency for Access Coalition, supported by UK Aid
and Power Africa, is an international competition that
identifies and promotes the world's best and most
energy-efficient off-grid refrigerators for
compatibility with off-grid solar systems.
The Steca PF 166-H Off-Grid freezer is convincing!
Advantages such as the climate-friendly R290 coolant,
low consumption and good value for money helped the
chest freezer to win.

Phaesun as guest of the second Africa Day:
The
second Africa Day for companies took place at the
University Centre Vöhlinschloss Illertissen. With
the topic: Pragmatic solutions for African growth
markets. In cooperation with Bayern Innovativ GmbH,
the program included many different presentations as
well as Think'n Talk workshops. Many thanks for the
exchange of experiences.

Handover Proceeds of Off-Grid Sales:
Messe Augsburg and
Phaesun GmbH hand over proceeds of the
Off-Grid Sales to ARCHEMED - Ärzte für Kinder
in Not e.V.
The Managing Director of Messe Augsburg Thomas
Schmidt-Tancredi and Phaesun Managing Director
Tobias Zwirner handed over the proceeds of
donated off-grid products to Dr. Ulrich
Markmiller of the association ARCHEMED - Ärzte
für Kinder in Not e. V. at the beginning of
February. The manufacturers German Offgrid
Power and Studer Innotec donated products, as
did Phaesun, and thus generated the donation
together with the organiser of the Off-Grid
Sales Messe Augsburg. The products were sold
last year during the Off-Grid Experts Workshop
in Augsburg. "We are pleased that we can use
the proceeds to support ARCHEMED's
humanitarian aid in Eritrea", explains Phaesun
Managing Director Tobias Zwirner. The sale
raised a total of 1.000€.

Delegation visit from Tunisia:
At the beginning of
the week we had a delegation from Tunisia on
the topic: "Solar and photovoltaics". The
visit was organized at the invitation of the
Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs as part
of the "Bavaria - Fit for Partnership"
program. The project is carried out by
TUM-Tech GmbH in cooperation with the
German-Tunisian Chamber of Industry and
Commerce (AHK). Thank you very much for your
visit!

Winterschool:Phaesun
supports The international Solar
Employee/Entrepreneur Winterschool which took
succesfully place the last two weeks at the SRH
Hochschule Berlin. An international group of
experts are trained for the Off-Grid sector based
on renewable energies. Congratulations to Matthias
and his team for the excellent organization. |

REvivED projects:
Within the framework of
the "REvivED water" project, Phaesun has
installed the last two pilot plants in Tanzania.
One in the capital Daressalam and the other near
Arusha in a Maasai village. The technology,
which is based on electrodialysis, desalinizes
and purifies saline groundwater and produces
2000 litres of high-quality drinking water every
day. The plant is powered by 600Wp photovoltaic,
which makes it self-sufficient and particularly
suitable for use in remote regions. |

Solar cooling
systems:
The energy project team
“Solar Air Con Ghana” of the University of Applied
Science of Vorarlberg (Austria) has carried out a
training on “Do It Yourself” Solar Cooling in
Ghana in cooperation with Green Power Brains. A
solar powered refrigerator and air conditioning
system were locally produced based on the Phaesun
GmbH SelfChill® cooling units (www.selfchill.org).
